For AY2025-2026, rising second-years participating in the Honors Program are only eligible to live with the Honors Program in the Eighth Street Apartments, if they secure on-campus housing through the lottery. On-campus housing is limited, and students are not required to live on campus. If you miss the deadline to apply for on-campus housing as a second-year student, you can apply for the housing waitlist or choose to live off campus for your second year. Students applying to the waitlist will only be offered
housing if space is available within the Honors Program residence halls. Honors Program participants agreed to the following when committing to the program in their first year:
- I agree to live in Eighth Street Apartments in fall and spring of my first year. I understand that as a rising second-year student and beyond, I will participate in the Georgia Tech housing lottery in the fall semester. If I secure housing via the lottery for the upcoming application cycle, I will have the option to live on campus in Honors Program housing or anywhere else on campus that I choose, space available. I also understand that, should I choose to live in Honors Program housing, I will be required to live with other Honors Program students. If I do not secure housing via the lottery, I will be required to move off campus.
- I understand that I will have the option to continue to live with my fellow Honors Program students in Eighth Street Apartments after my second year. Housing for upper-year students is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed.
