Unless you are staying in the same room over the summer as you lived in during the academic year, you cannot store your items in your room over the summer. After our May move-out, your room is used to house summer conference guests or undergoes routine maintenance to prepare for the fall.
Many residents take advantage of local storage rental units, mobile storage units, or box-and-store services to store their items over the summer. There are several companies that will provide boxes or storage pods for students to fill with their belongings and then store them with the company over the summer. Then in the fall they’ll deliver those items to your new address.
