Students who have or need housing accommodations are required to register with the Office of Disability Services (ODS). Only ODS can recommend or approve accommodations requested by students.
It is crucial to emphasize that on-campus housing is not classified as an accommodation. Housing and Residence Life is committed to implementing all accommodations recommended by the Office of Disability Services once a student successfully secures a space on campus. It's important to note that no preferential treatment is given to students with housing accommodations.
Upon securing a housing space (meaning the student is not on the waitlist), those with accommodations may be assigned to specific rooms or presented with various room options to ensure the ODS recommended accommodations are met. Housing and Residence life is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all residents.
