Pell-Awarded Upper-level Undergraduate Students
- Apply by November 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. - Receive a room self-selection time-ticket based on the number of credit hours accrued at Georgia Tech as a matriculated college student
- Self-selection begins in February 2026
- Apply after November 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. - Assigned to the end of the waitlist in order of application
All Other Returning Undergraduate Students
- Apply by November 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. – Participate in lottery with other undergraduate students
- If selected from the lottery - Receive a room selection time-ticket based on the number of credit hours accrued at Georgia Tech as a matriculated college student
- Self-selection begins in February 2026
- If not selected from the lottery - Assigned to waitlist in accordance with lottery number
- If selected from the lottery - Receive a room selection time-ticket based on the number of credit hours accrued at Georgia Tech as a matriculated college student
- Apply after November 10, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. – Assigned to the end of waitlist in order of application
New First-Year Students
- Apply by June 1, 2026 - Receive randomized room selection time-ticket
- Self-selection begins in June 2026
- Apply after June 1, 2026 - Assigned a space as available in order of application
New Transfer Students (Admitted for Spring 2026 applying for Academic Year 2026-2027)
- Apply by January 22, 2026 – Participate in lottery with other new transfer students
- If selected from the lottery, receive a room selection time-ticket in accordance with lottery number
- Self-selection begins in February 2026
- If not selected from the lottery, assigned to waitlist in accordance with lottery number
- If selected from the lottery, receive a room selection time-ticket in accordance with lottery number
- Apply after January 22, 2026 – Assigned to the end of the waitlist in order of application
New Transfer Students (Admitted for Summer or Fall 2026)
- Apply by July 6, 2026 – Participate in lottery with other new transfer students
- If selected from the lottery, receive a room selection time-ticket in accordance with lottery number
- Self-selection begins in July 2026
- If not selected from the lottery, assigned to waitlist in accordance with lottery number

New Graduate Students
