Once the waitlist is activated, any student who applies will see a message in the application portal that we have reached capacity and they are applying for the waitlist. Students should complete the application and sign their contract to be added to the list. They will receive an email within a few business days letting them know where to find and monitor the progress of their waitlist number. Students who cancel their contract while still on the waitlist do not pay a penalty. After the self-assign period, Housing will make assignments as space becomes available. There is no guarantee we will get through our entire waitlist but will work on it throughout the summer. Residents on the waitlist are encouraged to consider off-campus housing options.
