The Second-Year Experience will not be available for Academic Year 2025-26 and beyond. Residents interested in additional support as a rising second year and beyond are encouraged to check out our Upper-class Living Learning Communities - WST and I-House.
The Second-Year Experience Program (2YE) is a self-selected living option to help second year residents access the services and resources that are relevant to their needs. Housing and Residence Life focuses on three areas - academic and personal achievement, future and career planning skills, and well-being. Residents are provided with opportunities to participate in programming and activities as well as “just in time” information about campus opportunities that are important to them in their second year.
There is no fee to participate. Residents who are unable to be placed in the Second-Year Experience will be notified and provided the opportunity to self-assign elsewhere on campus during their regular scheduled time-based on class standing and GT credit hours.
