Grand Challenges and Global Leadership offer an upper-class block of rooms in the North Avenue apartments. Students interested in living in the upper-class block for Grand Challenges or Global Leadership must have participated in those programs as a first-year student, indicate on each housing application that they wish to live in their respective block, and secure housing through the lottery. Once a student has secured housing and indicated they want to live with their LLC, Grand Challenges and Global Leadership will review those individuals and determine through their own process who is approved to live in the block for the next academic year.
Students who secured housing and were selected to live in the upper-class LLC blocks may only select from other LLC members who secured housing and were given a space in the block during roommate selection. They will then be able to complete room selection based on the number of Georgia Tech credit hours they have accrued as a matriculated student.
Students who secure housing through the lottery but are not selected to live in the LLC block will be able to complete room selection for remaining available beds elsewhere on campus based on the number of Georgia Tech credit hours they have accrued as a matriculated student.
